MOBILITY NAVIGATOR

This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE position.

Primary Responsibilities Include
» This is primarily a part time position which may become full time as the business sets goals to grow and expand.
» Greeting customers and answering the phone. If needed, assist customers with getting into the store and offer transportation via wheelchair.
» Meet with customers in person (or virtually) to build rapport, tour the store while explaining product lines, and eventually generate sales.
» Provide customers with genuine guidance and support specifically related to their current and/or future needs. We problem solve and educate customers on their best options for what they are trying to accomplish.
» Provide information on products and explain company policies.
» Maintain customer logs and records.
» Learn and demonstrate use of products in a safe manner.
» Make sure that products are clean and sanitary after being rented or a demonstration.
» Help with office roles as needed, such as receiving deliveries, recordkeeping, filing, some Quickbooks.

Knowledge and Skills
» Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
» Associate degree OR the equivalent amount of work experience
» Working knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
» Ability to learn new software quickly (e.g., simple transactions in Quickbooks)
» Skilled in problem-solving and troubleshooting
» Detail oriented and must be good with tools

Physical Requirements of the Job
» Work requires frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds
» Work requires regularly stooping, bending, and kneeling
» Work requires the ability to be on one’s feet for eight hours during one work shift
» Requires regularly reaching and grasping objects at, above, and below shoulder level
» Work requires regularly grasping and fine manipulation with hands
» Work requires regularly proofreading and checking documents for accuracy
» Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
» Ability to work up to eight hours per day and up to 24 hours per week. Must also be able to work weekends.
» Ability to work independently.

Range: $16.50 - $18.00 / hour - all applicants will need to do drug screening and a background check.

MOBILITY TECHNICIAN/INSTALLER

This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE position.

Primary Responsibilities Include
» This is primarily a part time position which may become full time as the business sets goals to grow and expand.
» Installing products and testing them to ensure they are working correctly (eg. grab bars, stairlifts, ramps, etc.).
» Educating the client on how to use and maintain their device(s) safely.
» Performing maintenance on mobility equipment.
» Diagnosing problems and coming up with solutions to repair mobility equipment.
» Explaining issues with equipment and repair process to customers.
» Getting quotes on parts needed for repairs.
» Creating detailed reports and keeping records on services that have been performed.
» Demonstrating ability to follow instructions.

Knowledge and Skills
» High school diploma or GED
» 5+ years of experience preferred
» Install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot equipment
» Must be able to read instructions and diagrams
» Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills
» Skilled in problem-solving and troubleshooting
» Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job
» Working knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
» Ability to learn new products and how to install, assemble and repair them quickly (Extensive product training will be available from both the suppliers and Beyond Accessible)
» Ability to talk about technical details with tech support, and higher level communication with customers
» Work independently without much supervision
» Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
» Effectively manage time
» Detail oriented and must be good with tools

Physical Requirements of the Job
» Must be able to lift 50 pounds and above
» Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, stooping,
» Kneeling, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
» Work requires regularly reaching and grasping objects at, above, and below shoulder level
» Work requires the ability to be on your feet for eight hours during one work shift
» Work requires regularly grasping and fine manipulation with hands
» Work requires attending supplier training when appropriate/needed
» Work requires some use of computers
» Must be able to work by oneself
» Ability to work up to eight hours per day and up to 24 hours per week. Must also be able to work weekends.
» Ability to work independently.

Range: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour - all applicants will need to do drug screening and a background check.
